HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Where's Waldo Wilma?!
Hey everyone! Hope you all have a great Halloween.

At the end of last month, I won 4 tickets to the opening night of Mickey's Halloween party at Disneyland. We took our cousins and their son, Kolbe. Here are a few photos from the Fright Night:

Awwww, cousins!

Wildwood Park, Thousand Oaks

Wildwood Regional Park is an incredible park with several trails. The address is 928 W Avenida De Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks. I did a quick mile loop one morning before work and had a wonderful time.  There is also a good 3-mile loop in this park and you can see some photos (I was still experimenting with HDR at the time, so some are a bit too saturated) from that hike here:
Here is the topography map:

It starts out on the plateaus...

with lovely plants and cactai.

I didn't take this trail, but it leads to the tee-pee and downhill to Paradise falls.

This was my favorite view of the morning. I loved the way the hills were silhouetted by the fog and light.

The trail starts to decend into the canyon:

And back up the canyon with lovely bouts of cactai:

A stunning panoramic view:

And some beautiful scenes at the end of the trail:

The Hopelessly Devoted CD Release Show

It's been quite a long time since I've posted. I've been very busy, and sick for the last 10 days, but finally recovering... So, many pictures to come of my adventures from the last month or so...

(press play now!)

And first of those adventures was the amazing release show at the Troubadour for my dearest rockabilly friends, The Hopelessly Devoted. Here are a few photos from the amazing night of fun:

Grandpa Chuck

I wanted to take a moment of appreciation for Grandpa Chuck, who passed away last night at the age of 87. He always made me feel loved and welcomed. His smile was infectious and he was always a joy to talk to. Grandpa Chuck, you will be sorely missed.
