Paradise Falls at Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks, CA

This hike was just simply amazing. It's a shorter 3-mile hike and has a bountiful variety!

Wildlife:
Wild flowers:
A gorgeous canyon:
A 70-ft waterfall:
Even a tee-pee:
I definitely recommend it. We went on this last-minute hike on the way out to Ventura on a beautiful late afternoon two Saturdays ago. It's not too difficult. This hike is at the far west end of Avenida de los Arboles. There are several trails you can take in the park.
We started at the west trailhead (which I think is Mesa Trail), followed it til you turn Left at the signs for Paradise Falls and the Teepee. At the Teepee you take a Right down into the canyon. Follow it to a split in the road, where you go right to get to the bottom of the waterfall. Then you go back up to that same split in the road and follow it upstream. If I remember right, follow this path til you cross a wooden bridge and then take a Left towards Avenida De Los Arboles, then follow the path beside the road, back to the parking lot.
